New craft build

First instalment of my latest hover build. Still a long way to go, but its heading the right way.


This build is based on a Sevtec Surveyor, but has been scaled up to make it bigger. There are other mods to this craft which will become apparent as the build progresses.


Materials I am using are:


Airex T92:100 core
Vinylester


This is my third Sev build and future builds I will be using vinylester & Airex.

In this age of reducing noise footprint and the drive for recreational hovercraft to become more acceptable, what is the noise output of your latest design and have you incorporated any alterations to improve it in this model?

In this age of reducing noise footprint and the drive for recreational hovercraft to become more acceptable, what is the noise output of your latest design and have you incorporated any alterations to improve it in this model?

Simple answer is yes and also I have increased the craft's payload. Wont know how many Db the craft will be for sure until flight testing, but should be in the low to mid 70's at cruise speed, which will put it on a par with the Hovtek Otter.


Time will tell.
