Windy Day on the Trent

Took my Marlin I for a spin on the Trent this week, a windy but not too bad. Lots of floatsom from all the flooding to look out for!

Yes it did look a bit bleak! I Have worked along side that river for about 20 years, so know it's moods well, this was a fair day!

Sorry about the (lack of) comms quote, I' ve had a few rush jobs on, will sort it this week.

Well done. I know what the wind is like from just sitting on the jet ski last summer.

When will you have road access to the tank ramp?

That would make a great launch site/camping/barbeque etc.

Burton Stather Heritage Group who lease the site, are trying to reopen the foot path from the pub to the tank ramp, this could take years as Villa Farm object.
As for a road that is very unlikely.

The chairman of BSHG is now a hovercraft owner so I'm sure hovercraft will always be welcome on the tank ramp.
